My name is Phyllis Jean Robinson, welcome to Our African American Village.  Here you can read some of my ideas and express some of yours with your comments. I am an author from the South side of Chicago in the community of Morgan Park.  I attended Shoop Elementary School and Morgan Park High School.  I went to Illinois State University for two years and then returned home and finished my education with a BS and MS in Education from Chicago State University.  I taught in  the Chicago Public Schools, with 20 years  as a junior high science teacher  at Mt Vernon  Elementary School.  I started writing after I retired and have now completed 5 novels which include 3 Christian Romance, 1 Historical Fiction , and 1 Mystery.
